CHANGING OUR EATING HABITS ONE MEAL + ONE DAY AT A TIME
It's simple - we will go through this together and with a community of smart foodies!
- The Saturday before the 1st day of challenge, you will receive a grocery shopping list, tips for smart cooking and recipes
- The shopping list will have all the ingredients needed for a week full of recipes (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- All you have to do is make any 1 recipe each day. You are guaranteed a well balanced meal at least once a day!
- Share your results and feedback on facebook or instagram (#sneakyapron) to motivate the other challenge members
All the essential nutrients get in the bellies leading to near and long term health, strengthening their immune systems, better gut health and finally, a smooth peaceful meal time. No more "eat your veggies!" OR "clean plate club" struggles!
SMALL CHANGES CAN CREATE A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE
- Vary your protein routine to include meat, seafood, plant-based proteins.
- Make half your plate fruits and vegetables.
- Focus on whole fruits.
- Vary your veggies.
- Make half your grains whole grains.
These small changes however can cause quite a few meal time fuss for kids and overlooked by adults as we tend to not pay attention to ensuring we meet the daily recommended diet full of essential vitamins and minerals, carbohydrates and proteins. At least for me, what worked best was ensuring these get included in our daily foods that are appealing to the eye and picky palates!
